I trained in interior design at KLC School of Design in London before completing a master’s in contemporary art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York. The decade that followed took me through some of the art world’s leading galleries, including David Zwirner and Gagosian in New York and London, and roles as Sales Director at Simon Lee Gallery and Galerie nächst St. Stephan in Vienna. Throughout, I worked closely with artists, collectors and institutions, helping people make considered decisions about the things they choose to live with.

That experience shaped the way I look at interiors: through material, proportion, atmosphere and the relationship between art and the objects around it. I’m drawn to fabric, texture, furniture and the particular alchemy that makes a space feel instinctive rather than overly composed.

I don’t think a sense of space begins and ends with a room. We create a world around ourselves through the things we choose, collect, wear and live with. These things become part of us — carrying memory, meaning and a sense of who we are.

The Cabinet grew from this idea: an evolving collection of things I make and things I find, beginning with The Talismans, a series of one-of-a-kind pieces made from natural stones.

The interiors shown here are personal and independent projects, created for myself and people close to me. Like the objects in The Cabinet, they are intended to feel individual, layered and collected rather than simply designed.
